So a while ago Facebook deleted the CLAWED page. :(

They asked me for ID proving I was CLAWED, like a utility bill. I tried to explain CLAWED was a band and I asked what kind of ID I could provide. They never answered & they deleted the CLAWED page.

They let me keep my Lalena page, I guess because my name really is Lalena and I can prove I own Lalena.me

Eventually, Facebook restored the CLAWED page, but it was empty. All the content was wiped as though it was a brand new page.

So here I am rebuilding the CLAWED page...

Today seems like a good day to start doing it. Someone bought a copy of CLAWED Rob directly today, which is always great! Usually, we get fractional pennies from places like Spotify for track plays. Now I have to convert the album, cause I only have the masters. LOL

I thought it might be a good time to post and talk about CLAWED Rob. I've been told I should talk more about my art and explain it more, so here goes.

CLAWED Rob is unusual as a CLAWED album in that it's all created from someone else's samples. All the previous CLAWED albums were created using audio I recorded on my DAR or sounds we created using audio software, synths, etc.

CLAWED Rob is created entirely from royalty-free vocals samples released by Rob Meulman. Here's a link to Rob's website with the samples.

I contacted Rob to share what CLAWED created with his tracks and he wrote back saying, "that sure is completely different from what other people do with my samples." :)

Here's the first track from the album, "Introducing the Belltones". I have no recollection of which tracks were warped for this one. :)
